NITICS is an interdisciplinary and technology integrative project that involves a consortium of partners (nine organisations from five countries) with complementary expertises and profiles (research, SMEs and end-users) that colloaborate closely in order to achieve the project objectives. The NITICS consortium partners combine expertises in the areas of scientific research (home telecare, mobility modeling, positioning methods, sensors networks...), prototyping process (user requirements definition, functional specification, implementation, system integration, test validation, installation...), services provision and acess to end-users. Furthermore, the industrial NITICS partners, including its consortium SMEs are also puting specific focus on market-driven approaches (business models development and stakeholder involvement) and dessimination activities in order to efficiently exploit the NITICS project results.
